About Me: Psychotherapist. Licensed Clinical Social Worker. New Yorker living in Los Angeles. Wellness Focused. Dog Mom.
My path to becoming a therapist was deeply personal, shaped by my own transformative experiences in therapy. It's with that very particular kind of empathy that I approach my work with you as your therapist. I am committed to helping others find paths to healing, self-care, self-worth, and a life more grounded in positive wellness.
I earned my master's degree in social work from New York University where I focused my training on Substance Use and co-occurring disorders, including Anxiety, Depression, and PTSD. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Michigan, gaining crucial skills for effective listening, clear articulation, and empathetic understanding that inform my client relationships every day.
My professional journey spans various settings, including intensive outpatient and residential substance use treatments, detox programs, clinical mentorship, and crisis mental health care. I have extensive experience addressing a vast spectrum of mental health concerns including Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Substance Use Disorders, Attachment Issues, Mood Disorders, and Psychosis. I also have experience treating individuals across the therapeutic areas of Trauma, Life Transitions, Relationship Issues (both with self and others), Grief and Loss, and more.
My clients can expect to see my personal values of confidentiality, truth, compassion, and acceptance at work in every session and interaction. Whether I'm meeting therapy clients online or in person at my West Hollywood office, I provide a warm and judgment-free space that nurtures healing, trust, and openness. I am trained in and offer several therapeutic approaches in my practice, including Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Based-Therapy (ABT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and various Somatic and Mindfulness practices. I offer a trauma-informed, patient-first, relational approach in my work with clients.
I am currently training to become a Somatic EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Practitioner, and look forward to offering this expanded trauma intervention.
