NEXT GROUP STARTING IN APRIL
Postpartum Support Group in Los Angeles & California
Join a small, therapist-led virtual postpartum support group designed for new moms across California. Connect twice a month in a supportive space where you can talk openly, feel understood and build tools to support your mental health after having a baby.
Does this feel like your postpartum experience?
⟡ You adore your baby but the day-to-day reality feels heavier & more overwhelming than you expected.
⟡ Lack of sleep is impacting your mood, patience, and ability to cope.
⟡ You find yourself missing who you were before becoming a mom—and feel guilty even thinking that.
⟡ You’re spending a lot of time alone and wondering why it seems easier for everyone else.
⟡ You wish more people spoke honestly about how hard early motherhood can be.
We’re not just therapists – we’re moms, too. We know firsthand how isolating and confusing this season can feel, especially when you're trying to hold it all together on your own. That’s exactly why we created this online postpartum group: to give you a place to learn practical emotional support tools while also connecting with other new moms throughout California who truly get it.

WHAT TO EXPECT
How our postpartum support group works
Each session is held online in a consistent, welcoming space where you can show up exactly as you are. We intentionally keep the group small so that every mom has space to share, connect, and feel genuinely supported – not lost in a large virtual room.
During sessions, you can expect:
A gentle opening check-in to help you settle in
Conversations around common postpartum challenges like sleep, anxiety, identity shifts, relationships, and feeding
Time for open sharing and connection with other moms
Thoughtful guidance, insights, and practical tools from your therapists
Space to reflect, ask questions, and be heard
This isn’t a lecture or class. It’s a place to exhale, feel less alone, and reconnect with yourself. Sessions are held at a consistent time to create a sense of rhythm and reliability, and we do our best to match schedules that work for the group.

My name is Justine Gordon and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Born and raised in California, I have always loved getting to know new people and place a high value on being open-minded and caring. My own experiences as a mom have deeply inspired me to want to help other mothers going through the same experiences I struggled with. I am passionate about creating a safe, kind, collaborative, and judgment-free space where moms can feel seen and understood, learn more about themselves and find a renewed sense of physical and mental well-being.
Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions before joining? You’re not alone! Here are a few things many moms wonder about:
-
That’s completely normal. Most moms feel some level of hesitation before joining a group like this – especially if it’s your first time. You don’t have to show up perfectly or know exactly what to say. You can simply come, listen, and take it at your own pace. We create a gentle, welcoming environment so it feels easier to settle in over time.
-
There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. Many moms start by listening, and that’s just as valuable. You’re always in control of what you choose to say, and we’ll never put you on the spot. Often, just hearing others talk about similar experiences can feel incredibly validating.
-
Yes, absolutely. We understand that childcare isn’t always realistic during this stage of life. Babies are welcome in the space, and there’s no expectation that things will be quiet or perfectly uninterrupted.
-
We understand that life with a newborn can be unpredictable. While we encourage consistent attendance so you can get the most out of the group, missing a session occasionally is okay. You’ll still be able to stay connected and continue with the group.
-
This is a therapist-led support group, which means it blends emotional support, shared experiences, and gentle clinical guidance. It’s more interactive and relational than traditional therapy, but still grounded in professional expertise and evidence-based approaches.
-
If you’re needing more individualized or higher-level care, we can absolutely help guide you toward additional support. This group can be a great complement to individual therapy, but we’re also here to help you figure out what level of care feels right for you.
-
Creating a safe, respectful, and confidential environment is a top priority for us. We set clear group agreements at the beginning, including expectations around privacy and mutual respect. Our role as therapists is to hold the space in a way that helps everyone feel as comfortable and supported as possible.
